The second postcard in the Ryan’s Story: Designations Collection features Ryan Murphy during his time as The Boy.
Dressed in a white shirt, wearing his collar and sitting with his head lowered, Ryan represents another chapter in a system designed to strip him of his identity.
The reverse features one of Nonna Lucia’s Italian sayings:
Finché c’è vita, c’è speranza.
As long as there is life, there is hope.
A reminder that even when everything else has been taken, hope remains.
